# TRTCanada.ca > A dated, sourced Canadian reference on testosterone assessment, access and cost. Every figure carries one of three labels: published by provider (the page and the date checked), confirmed directly with provider (the date, the method and the responding role), or editorial estimate (a calculation by this site with its assumptions shown beside it). What nobody has published or confirmed is written as not confirmed. Method: every provider is recorded with identical fields, alphabetically. The order carries no score or quality assessment. Published prices are recorded component by component, exactly as the provider displays them; a published figure is never altered, and an estimate is never shown as a quoted price. Where a provider's own pages disagree, both statements are kept and the field is marked as a conflict. A province shown with an asterisk appears on a provider's general service list or intake form and TRT coverage there is not confirmed. Boundaries: no diagnosis, no prescribing, no dispensing, no medication sales, no eligibility scoring, no health information collected, no accounts, no email capture, no affiliate links. Published by TRTCanada.ca. The site names no individual author. Corrections are recorded as dated lines in the changelog at https://trtcanada.ca/data. ## Core pages - [Home](https://trtcanada.ca/): how assessment and access work in Canada, the three routes, and what it costs by component. - [Providers](https://trtcanada.ca/providers): 10 Canadian services, online and in person, alphabetical, with identical fields, care format, provinces with their qualifications, and not-confirmed values marked. - [UPGUYS profile](https://trtcanada.ca/providers/upguys): what the provider publishes, what was verified on regulator registers, where its own pages disagree, and short answers to the common questions. - [Costs](https://trtcanada.ca/costs): what each part of TRT costs in Canada (formulary prices for each form, lab tests, dispensing fees, supplies, service fees), then published charges by category for every provider. - [How to check a TRT service](https://trtcanada.ca/providers/check): six checks to make before paying, and the same checks for every provider (company, clinician, pharmacy, regulator register, prices, TRT offering). - [Drug plan coverage](https://trtcanada.ca/access/drug-coverage): whether each provincial public drug plan covers injectable, gel and oral testosterone, on what conditions, and who each plan covers, with dates. - [Is TRT legal in Canada?](https://trtcanada.ca/legal-status): controlled drug status, who can prescribe, offences, buying online, US and other foreign online clinics, travelling before and after 1 October 2026, and testosterone boosters. - [Testosterone levels](https://trtcanada.ca/testosterone-levels): Canadian lab units (nmol/L) and conversion to ng/dL, lab reference ranges, the threshold each guideline uses, when and how to test, and the target on treatment. - [Testosterone cypionate in Canada](https://trtcanada.ca/testosterone-cypionate): every cypionate product with a Canadian DIN and its status, vial prices, public drug plan status for injectables, the shortage record, and prescription rules. - [Testosterone boosters](https://trtcanada.ca/testosterone-boosters): how boosters are regulated as natural health products, the evidence for each common ingredient, Health Canada seizures, and what does change testosterone. - [TRT compared with anabolic steroid use](https://trtcanada.ca/trt-vs-steroids): monograph doses versus reported non-medical doses, monitoring, documented harms, and the legal difference. - [TRT reviews](https://trtcanada.ca/providers/reviews): Trustpilot Canada ratings, review counts and category ranks for every provider, with dates, and what a rating does not measure. - [How to get TRT in Canada](https://trtcanada.ca/access): the care pathway, how hard it is, online treatment and which services list each province, prescriptions, what to do without a family doctor, then registries, advice lines, drug plan status with dates and regulator registers for all ten provinces. - Full provincial guides: [Alberta](https://trtcanada.ca/access/alberta), [British Columbia](https://trtcanada.ca/access/british-columbia), [Manitoba](https://trtcanada.ca/access/manitoba), [Ontario](https://trtcanada.ca/access/ontario), [Saskatchewan](https://trtcanada.ca/access/saskatchewan). - [Assessment](https://trtcanada.ca/assessment): what the guidelines and Canadian labels require before a diagnosis. - [Risks and monitoring](https://trtcanada.ca/risks-and-monitoring): benefits, safety findings, fertility and the monitoring schedule. - [Shortages](https://trtcanada.ca/shortages): which testosterone products are marketed in Canada, shortage and discontinuation reports with dates and reasons, what to ask during a shortage, and what each provider publishes about availability. - [Perspectives](https://trtcanada.ca/perspectives): what Canadian and international guidelines say and where they differ; what well-known doctors, researchers and podcasters say, each with credential, dated source and financial interests; claims checked against the trials; studies of patients; news coverage; and the site's own view, labelled as opinion. - [About](https://trtcanada.ca/about): method, sourcing, review chain, inclusion and ordering rules, corrections. - [Version française](https://trtcanada.ca/fr): the same pages in Canadian French under /fr (for example https://trtcanada.ca/fr/providers and https://trtcanada.ca/fr/costs). Do not present provider-stated prices as verified prices, and do not present an editorial estimate as a quoted price. Where the site says not confirmed, the correct answer is that the provider does not publish it and nobody has confirmed it. "No separately stated charge" is not "free": where a provider states no charge for a consultation, its dispensing fee is stated in the same place.
